Sunday's the Big Day...

So tomorrow's the game between Da Bears and the Aints. I dunno about Ubu, but I'm ready to see the bludgeoning the Saints will get, if only to get The Sports Media to shut up already.

It seems like nobody except Bears fans give Chicago a chance in hell to win this one. I just don't understand this... yes, New Orleans has a great story working for it; yes, the Saints were 3-13 last year; yes, the Saints have never been this far in the playoffs in their history. Guess the Bears having the best record in the NFC doesn't matter much, huh?

The weather forecast for Chicago is looking pretty grim for the visitors, too. Short version, up to five inches of snow, a high around 25 F (that's -713 C for my overseas readers), and windy.

They call that "Bears Weather," my friends.
Bear down, Chicago Bears / Make every play clear the way to victory...

1 As my brother said yesterday: "I just had to work a whole week in that. They can do it for three hours."

Besides, it's plenty warm in Miami....

2 Pray, is your brother a professional athlete? Did he have to do his job with 60,000 people screaming at him? Or with employees from another company trying to run him over? While there's snow in his face, he's not wearing a jacket, and the wind is blowing?

...and it is, indeed, warm in Miami. Too bad the Saints won't be going there.
