The Greatest FanFic EVAR!*
There is only one line that I dare repeat from this:
"You came here expecting to find a madman, but instead, you found a GOD!"
Hitler had become a Super Saiyan.
...and if that isn't great enough for you, just go here to read the whole thing.
*yes, sarcasm is intended. The greatest fanfic ever is actually this.

I heard that line in the Street Fighter movie.
XtZ was one of my favourites back in the day. I betaed his Star Wars x Azumanga thing, all 100k+ words of it (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2132104/1/Azumanga_Daioh_in_Space_Special_Edition).

I dunno. I kind of get the impression that "greatest fanfic" is an oxymoron.

"In short time, Darth Nochichi’s reign of terror would be replaced by Darth Mito’s reign of weird."

I've enjoyed all of XtZ's stories, but his AzuDai stuff is, at worst, good, and at best... well, "The More Things Change" is about the closest we'll ever get to a sequel to the series.

I quite agree. I think everyone dabbed into continuations at some point. A few people liked my "One Way" (which I myself hated). But XtZ captured the spirit well. Again, everyone brought a baggage and agenda to it; in XtZ's case it's an American college and dorm, an entirely alien experience to me. The difference is, everyone else lets it dominate the story.
