...and yes, she really has gone over to the Dark Side. I'm sure she'll snap out of it in another episode or two, but for now? She gets all whup-arse on Hakufu's tucus in episode 8.
YES, I'm still watching the show, and enjoying it, too. Just like SDB and DragonBall Z, I've got a thing for Ikkitousen. So sue me.
Had to composite the hell out of this sequence to get this photo; something like six screencaps, then had to reduce it in size to make it fit the post. The original is something like 1000x1900.
But, y'know? It was worth the effort.

The second season of Ikki Tousen is being done by a different studio, and what I've heard is that it's a hell of a lot better.

However, they do know where their bread is buttered: if it involves Kan-u or Ryumou, the animation is very high level. If it has anything to do with Hakufu, it's actually WORSE than last series.
