You don't know the half of it. If the BBC were going to remake it, it would still be a bad idea, but they would have a good go at it. It is SKY TV who are doing it (Rupert Murdoch's British Wing). They genuinely cannot make good tv to save their lives. They are fairly good at buying US tv, but when it comes to their own programmes, their finest achievement is a soap opera about soccer. I use the word finest advisedly...
