The things I do for you guys... Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you more pictures of the new R27 from Renault:

Boy, who'd have thought that orange, white, yellow and blue would go together so... um... well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

It seems like there's a lot more fiddlybits on the R27's bodywork. I would have thought that would make the car's aero LESS effective, but I'm not a two-time winner of the Constructor's Championship. It looks like the nose is larger as well, but that might be an optical illusion.

We can see that there's less bend on the rear wing's underside here, and a deeper gap in the front wing. For what it's worth, that's NOT an optical illusion. The helmet is an integral part of the car, by the way. Unfortunately, that means that once the driver gets into the cockpit, he can't be let out until the end of the season, but that's one of the sacrifices F1 drivers have to deal with.

So there we have it... an ugly car. Simply put, "ugh." But it could be covered with moss and fungus, and if it wins races, who cares how it looks?
