Paul Stoddard, aka "Guido Minardi" here at The Pond, has applied for a team in 2008, and it will be called "European Minardi."

I think it needs a longer name. As a fan of the old National Lampoons films, I think it should be "Paul Stoddard's European Minardi".
Seriously though, this is wonderful news, we really do need more mouthy privateers back in F1. I always liked Eddie Jordan personally, certainly in the earlier years of his team. Would love to see him come back as well.
