Back in 2019 when we were allowed to go places - and there were places to go to - I visited the Austro-Hungarian military museum on a trip to Vienna. Profoundly depressing place, combining all the common-or-garden horrors of WW I with the added horror of a general staff even more incompetent than all the others.
