Here We Go Again... AGAIN!

SNOWMAGEDDON 2007, Part II!

They're saying we're supposed to get three-to-seven inches of snow tonight, and the way it's coming down at the moment, I'm leaning towards the bigger number.  Of course, idjits out there can't drive in snow.

Honestly, it's not that bad out there, but there's still people WHO CAN'T DRIVE IN SNOW on the roads.  I mean, there's maybe a quarter-inch on the ground, and I saw five or six cars in ditches, fender-benders, whatever.

I swear, humans can't drive safe.

1 You'd think people in that neck of the woods would have some experience with it. It's not like snow is all that rare a thing there. (Not like here, where it snows enough to accumulate maybe once every two years.)

2 Steven, particularly with the first snow of the season (which this is, really), people think that the streets are suddenly made out of white concrete.

Later, after they get used to having it on the ground, they act like snow is a natural adhesive.

I swear, people here haven't the faintest.  No, I can't explain it, either... as you point out, it's not like it's uncommon or anything.
